Privacy
Version 30 October 2026.
Who
BV La Lumière Consulting (SRL), Avenue Louise 323, 1050 Ixelles, Belgium. Enterprise no. 0762.735.942, VAT BE0762735942. We decide how your data is used, which makes us the controller. Contact for anything here: frederic@lalumiereconsulting.be.
What we never receive
- Your exported files. They're read in your browser and then dropped.
- Anything the other people in your chats wrote.
- Their names, phone numbers, mail addresses or street addresses. In your browser each person becomes a code, like P03, and the list that links names to codes is kept on that device only. You can export it as a file.
- The titles and guests of calendar events. Only how busy each hour was.
- Voice notes, photos and video. They're never analysed.
What we keep, why, and the legal basis
- Your account: email, plan, subscription status, the amounts and your country as Stripe returns them, and the campaign tag on the link you came from. To run your subscription. Basis: the contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
- Payment records. To keep our accounts. Basis: a legal obligation (art. 6(1)(c)).
- What you add about yourself (below). To run Elizabeth for you. Basis: your explicit consent (art. 9(2)(a)), which you give on the consent screen before you upload or answer anything, and the contract.
- Counts about the people you talk to, under a code we can't link to them. To show you what you did and what came next. Basis: our legitimate interest in giving you the service you asked for (art. 6(1)(f)). These counts are never used to describe or score those people.
- Sign-in times and how much AI each member uses, with no content. To keep the service safe and its cost in check. Basis: our legitimate interest in security and in running the service (art. 6(1)(f)).
- Other mail from Frederic, only if you ticked the box. Basis: your consent (art. 6(1)(a)). One click in each mail stops it.
- Page counts: no cookie, no identifier, no IP address.
What you add about yourself
- What we keep:
- Your answers to the questionnaires you take in the app, with the hours you slept and whether it was an unusual day, and the scores worked out from them.
- Counts per coded person from the chats you upload: when each message was sent, how long it was, whether it asked a question, who wrote next. Never the words.
- Messages of your own that you choose to keep, after names are replaced and numbers, addresses and links are stripped.
- Your energy check-ins after a conversation, your evening reviews, your principles in your own words, your experiments and your notes.
- What Elizabeth writes for you: your weekly read, the moves it proposes, its answers, and the questions you ask it.
- This can reveal things about your relationships, your values and how you feel, so we treat all of it as special-category data.
- Where: Fly.io's servers in Amsterdam, encrypted at rest. Only Frederic has access.
- Never: sold, used for advertising, shared with any other company, used for any other business of Frederic's, or used to train a model.
- No decision with legal or similarly significant effect is made about you by automated means.
Elizabeth is an AI
- Elizabeth runs on our servers and uses Claude, a model made by Anthropic. For each job, your weekly read, a principle's moves, Ask, we send Anthropic only the part that job needs: tables of counts, scores, your principles and the messages of your own you chose to keep.
- Anthropic never receives the other side's words, or anything that would describe a named person.
- Anthropic processes it for us, under its data processing agreement with us. It doesn't use it to train its models, and it deletes it within 30 days, longer only for content flagged under its usage policy.
- Elizabeth never labels anyone's emotions, yours or anyone else's. Your energy is what you report.
- Each member has an AI limit. If you reach it, Elizabeth pauses and we see that it paused, not what it read.
If you appear in a member's chats
- A member can upload a chat they had with you, to see how they deal with people. The chat is read in the member's browser.
- We never receive your messages, your name, your number or your address.
- We hold only counts, such as how long replies took and how long they were, under a code we can't trace to you.
- Elizabeth never describes you, your feelings, your character or your health, and never scores you.
- Group chats are dropped, and conversations with anyone under 18 are left out.
- You can object by mail to frederic@lalumiereconsulting.be, and ask the member to remove the conversation. Because we can't link a code to you, we can't find your counts ourselves, so we tell you how to have the member delete them.
- We tell you this here because we have no way to reach you (GDPR art. 14(5)(b)).
If a member invites you to rate them
You answer short questions about the member on your own page, after giving your own consent there. We keep your answers, the relation the member chose and the date, never your name or mail address. Mail us and we delete your answers.
Support chat and contact form
- Help, on this site and in the app, has two parts: an assistant you can ask about Elizabeth Bridge, and a form to write to us. BV La Lumière Consulting is the controller for both, as above.
- The assistant is an AI: Claude, made by Anthropic. It answers from this site's public pages. Before your first question you tick that it may read any sensitive information you write (explicit consent, art. 9(2)(a)).
- What you write to the assistant goes to Anthropic Ireland, Limited and Anthropic, PBC (USA), which process it for us under the EU standard contractual clauses. Anthropic doesn't use it to train its models and keeps it for up to 30 days, longer only for content flagged under its usage policy.
- We keep none of the assistant conversation on our servers. It stays in your browser tab. We keep only counts: tokens, cost and whether an answer helped, with no words and nothing that identifies you.
- Nothing reaches us unless you press Send on the card the assistant offers, or send the Email form. We then receive exactly what the card or the form shows, plus your email address, by mail through Brevo, and keep it on our server in Amsterdam to answer you.
- We keep a conversation you sent for 6 months after its last message, then delete it. Delete it yourself any time with "Delete this conversation" in Help, or mail frederic@lalumiereconsulting.be.
- The assistant decides nothing about you: refunds, prices and exceptions are decided by a person.
Who receives data
- Fly.io, Inc. (USA): hosting, servers in Amsterdam.
- Anthropic, PBC (USA): runs Elizabeth's AI, as above.
- Anthropic Ireland, Limited (Dublin, Ireland) and Anthropic, PBC (USA): the support assistant, as above.
- Brevo SAS (Paris, France): sign-in and account mail, servers in France and Belgium. No content of yours is ever put in a mail, except a support message you choose to send us.
- Stripe: payments. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us.
- YouTube (Google): only when you press play on the film. Google then receives your IP address under its own privacy policy.
- Nobody else.
Outside the EU
Fly.io, Inc., Anthropic, PBC, Stripe, LLC and Brevo's network provider Cloudflare are US companies. Transfers to a company listed under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework rely on it (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1795). Where a company isn't listed, the standard contractual clauses in its data processing agreement apply.
How long
- What you add about yourself: while your account is open.
- If you delete it: gone from our server at once, from backups within 30 days.
- If you close your account: deleted 30 days after it closes.
- What Anthropic received: deleted by Anthropic within 30 days.
- Account data: until 30 days after your account closes.
- Payment records: 7 years, as Belgian accounting law requires.
- Security log lines, counts only: 12 months.
- A support conversation you sent: 6 months after its last message.
- An email that didn't subscribe and didn't tick the box: 12 months.
- Consent for other mail: until you stop it.
Your choices and rights
- Withdraw consent any time with "Withdraw consent" in your account. Everything we hold on you is deleted at once, your browser wipes the list of names and codes, Elizabeth stops, and you can cancel with a refund of the unused part. Withdrawing doesn't affect what was done before. The confirmation mail carries no content.
- You can see, correct, download (Export in your account, as JSON), delete, restrict or object to the use of your data. Mail frederic@lalumiereconsulting.be. We answer within one month.
- The service can't run without this data, which is why the consent is needed for the subscription.
- You can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, contact@apd-gba.be, www.dataprotectionauthority.be, or to the authority in your own country.
Statistics
We may count how questionnaire scores spread across all members, as anonymous totals, to show you where you stand. Nobody can be picked out of them.
Cookies and storage
One cookie, set only when you sign in, keeps you signed in for 90 days. No other cookie and no outside measurement tool. Your browser keeps the list of names and codes, and your chats while they're being read, in its own storage (IndexedDB) on that device. Help keeps two entries in your browser's storage, listed under Support chat and contact form. The film loads from YouTube only when you press play.
Age
Elizabeth Bridge is for people 18 and older.
Not therapy
Elizabeth Bridge is a self-insight tool, not therapy or a medical device. What it is for, and the numbers to call in danger: Terms.
